Setting sail from the premier facilities at Safe Harbor, Port Annapolis Marina in Annapolis, this extended voyage offers a maritime exploration of Maryland’s Capital waters including the US Naval Academy, Severn River, Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and Thomas Point Lighthouse.
Itinerary
We’ll cover the basic principles of sailing in a fun, relaxed environment. Participants learn about boat safety, basic terminology, how to steer and trim sails, and get the chance to take the helm under the guidance of a qualified instructor.
